"BEST IN AMERICAN
LIVING AWARD"
- For outstanding Homes Design
Cedar Rapids, January 31, 1996 -
- In recognition of the nation's best new housing
designs, the twelfth annual "Best in American
Living" (BALA) trophies and plaques were presented
on January 26, 1996 at an award ceremony in
conjunction with the National Association of Home
Builders' annual convention and exposition. "Best in
Nation" and "Best in West North Central Region"
awards in the BALA competition were presented to Jim
Sattler, Inc. Custom Homes for his local 1994
Festival Show Home.
Sponsored
by Professional Builder magazine and the National
Association of Home Builders, the BALA program
showcases homes that illustrate design quality,
success in the marketplace and exemplify the "Best
in American Living". To qualify, homes must have
been completed or a model home must have opened
between May 1, 1994 and July 30, 1995.
A total of
74 award winners in 18 categories where chosen from
approximately 350 entries. Jim's award winning home
is located at 4848 Oak Grove Court in Cedar Rapids,
Iowa.
The 1995
BALA competition's panel of 12 judges was comprised
of builders, marketing experts, design professionals
and building publication editors.
Winners
were published in Professional Builder and Luxury
Homes.

LIVING AWARD"

Rapids, March 1, 1994 - - In recognition of the
nation's best new housing designs, the ninth annual
"Best in American Living" (BALA) awards were
presented on January 21, 1994 at an awards breakfast
ceremony in conjunction with the National
Association of Home Builders' annual convention and
exposition. A "Best in Region" award and a "Merit
Award" in this competition were presented to Jim
Sattler, Inc. Custom Homes for his local 1992 Parade
of Homes entry.
Sponsored
by Professional Builder magazine and the National
Association of Home Builders, the BALA program
showcases homes that illustrate design quality,
success in the marketplace and exemplify the "Best"
in American living. To qualify, homes must have been
completed or the model home must have opened between
May 1, 1992 and July 31, 1993.
A total of
56 award winners in 18 categories where chosen from
more that 300 entries. Jim's award winning home is
located at 4860 Oak Grove Court in Cedar Rapids,
Iowa.
The 1993
competition's panel of 14 judges was comprised of
builders, marketing experts, design professionals
and building publications editors.

magazine.
